There is no way to describe how different things are here. Everything is so laid back and one never knows what time it is or really cares.
I thought I would submerge myself in the culture yesterday and had my hair done in cornrows and braids, I absolutely LOVE it!
We are going to have New Year's day lunch with a girl that attends the school we will be working at and her family. They are extremely poor. In Belize this is a huge honor to be invited to a family's home for New Year's dinner. I am looking forward to it.
